Show the Fly involves teachers and students from the schools participating in the #MelanogasterCTF project, as well as further participants from local communities, presenting their experiences as citizen scientists at the PRBB Open Day. The PRBB Open Day takes place annually on the first Saturday in October and brings together more than 3000 people. Amongst all the teachers, scientists and schools participating in the Teach and Fly training sessions, two student winners will be selected. They will have the chance to visit the González Lab at the Institute of Evolutionary Biology (IBE (CSIC-UPF), Barcelona). Show the Fly rewards students and participants of the #MelanogasterCTF project, motivating them to continue participating and attracting new members to the project.
