Three aspects stand out from our educational center:
- It is highly integrated in the community. Our students participate actively in social activities of the town and, reciprocally, we make the municipality participate in the activities that we develop in the institute.
- The sciences are very present in the whole center’s activities. A scientific topic is often the center of interest around which the activities of all didactic fields revolve.
- Our educational model has always emphasized learning that is as experiential as possible, favoring activities focused on inquiry and experimentation.
Participating in the #MelanogasterCTF program has been a very enriching experience, since we have been able to experiment field work and to transfer this experimental part to the laboratory. Collaborating in this project is a good way to awaken young people’s interest in science and, in addition, to work together with other countries to achieve a common goal.
