The Institution is located in the city of Ocaña, department of Norte de Santander, located in the northeastern part of Colombia and is connected by national highways with Bucaramanga, Cúcuta and Santa Marta. The city of Ocaña is the second municipality of the Department with approximately 120,000 inhabitants. The Colfernández is a prestigious institution that has 3000 students with its annexes. It has extensive green areas and a forest, two school hours and 90 teachers. There is access to many nearby fields and trails where we can collect specimens of interest.
